using a bazooka el1500 amp...it has (4) 20 amp fuses for a total of 80 amps. i am using an 80 amp larger atc fuse 12 inches from the battery.

a fused D-Block also with an 80 amp (for that specific amplifier) fuse inline of the bazooka amp ...

running 4 gauge power wire and 8 gauge speaker wire to the subs off the amp with a 6 inch 8 gauge ground wire. does this sound correct?

If you have a 4 gauge power wire going to the amp then you should also use a 4 gauge ground wire as well. Is the EL 1500 the only thing you’re running of the main power wire? If so then yes you’re good to go. But if you have any other equipment or accessories on that main power cable then I would upgrade the fuse at the battery.

yes its the only thing.....on the main power wire. like i said 80 amp at the battery and 80 amp at the amplifier with an inline DBlock 80 amp also that will branch to different components later on.
thanks for the help.

That’s fine just remember in the future when you add more components that you will need to recalculate the main fuse at the battery.
