I have a 2004 Ford Expedition with factory nav and dvd I want to add some amps and speaker to my system, one problem the factory HU will cut back on the bass the louder it is turned up . does anyone suggest some kind of audio proccesor that would eliminate this problem? Thanks in advance

I want to add some amplifiers to my 2004 Ford Expedition, my concern  is that the hu is set up to cut back bass response the louder the volume is turned up. does anyone have any suggestionS? maybe some sort of sound processor that is available?

I want to replace the factory Hu in my 2004 Expedition, problem is I have factory Rear seat entertainment DVD and that will not work if HU is removed. anyone know if an adaptor or other way around this?

The RSE can still be used, no problem. On the back of the radio is a plug that powers the RSE and you must give this wire 12volts accessory to make it come on. I think the wire is GREEN/ black but you better use a DVM to be sure. It's a separate plug from the main 24pin plug. I get signal for the audio by running a set of rca's up to the headphone jacks on the side of the RSE. I tap them in and run them down to the AUX input of the new head unit. I've done this a dozen times, most need a RCA filter also...
