too much power?

is there a way to limit the power of a amp without haveing to change the ohms?? i have a infinty 7540a amp @110 wrms x 4 but all i need is 70 rms x 4 to push my mids and tweets re audio 5x7 2 ways

Set your gains correctly, and you'll have no issues. I run 167WRMS to 15 watt midrange drivers.

The volume control on the headunit can be used for that purpose. :)
