Hey guys,

Wanted some advice on installing a head-unit in a 2012 Silverado no onstar or bose. I know the GMOS-LAN-01 is the interface to use for my vehicle. I see that Axxess and PAC make it. Both units have mixed reviews leaning towards the overpriced/unreliable side.

I had an 06 GM that was wired to the fuse box for R.A.P. Which harness would I use to plug into factory harness and then splice to acc. wire?

I don't mind losing the warning chimes. Also, if you have another manufacturer of if you contest the reviews i've found online about the GMOS-LAN-01 harness i'm all ears. I don't mind spending for an interface but I've read they constantly need to be reset.

Thanks!

I was just notified by Scosche that they are about to start shipping their new S3-1 interface which also has steering wheel control built in.

Price is going to be comparable to GMOS-LAN-01 with more functionality. They told me I should have mine within a week or so.
