i have a friend with a 2006 impala, her tweeters in the a-colums, are working, the door speakers are not, are they powered by the same amp? any info on how this system is wired would be great thanks for your time dennis

The door speakers are the problem. It is common for them to quit playing.

on this 2006 impala, are the how are the tweeters wired , is there a 6 channel amp or, they wired to the woofers with a cheesy crossover/bass blocker? the reason im asking is i want to install aftermarket 6.5, does full frequecy go to the door speakers?

btw the speakers ohm out open ;) they are out and i modded the speaker to accept an aftermarket.

looks the same, i put in aftermarket kenwoods, they rock, shes happy
