I'm trying to hookup stinger 9-wire cable from my speakers positive and negative charged wires to my 4 channel amplifier. I crimped the wires together and then ran to the positive and negative side of my 4 channel amp but nothing comes out of the speakers. I'm not sure if I crimped the wires to the wrong harness behind my stereo or not. Please help!! Thanks in advance.

Well it's a pioneer stereo, I'll have check the model number and it's an alpine -300 amp and I connected the wires from the 9-wire to the speaker harness that goes to my speaker wires not the one that plugs into the back of the stereo. Thanks

What "9-wire speaker harness"?  Is this part of the vehicle?  Is it an aftermarket part?  If so, what's the part number?  What vehicle?  Are you trying to use the factory speakers?  Does the vehicle have a factory amp?

I think he means speed cable.
OP you need to provide us with more information regarding your vehicle, equipment used, what you have done so far.
From your posts I can guess that you have run the 9wire cable to the car-side harness, correct? You have verified that you have power to the amp and the remote wire?

did you disconnect the speaker wires from the back of the radio? you cant have the amp and the radio connected to the speakers at the same time, you have to disconnect the speakers from the back of the radio and hook up the 9 wire cable to the side of the speaker wires coming from the car.
