Hello, i built my self a box for my 99 ford f-350 behind my second seat. i managed to move the seat a little forward so i could fit the 2 L7 12's back there. I made the box sealed with the divider in between. Iam wondering if it would be better/louder if i made the same box with ports? and if so what size.

how big is the box you built? your L7's are probably starving for air as it is because those subs like to have a lot of air space, 2.5 to 3 cubic feet of air space for each woofer. behind the seat they might be getting 1 cubic foot each. if you are noticing a lack of output then thats probably why and adding a port into the same box will do nothing to help that out because ported boxes typically want even more airspace than a seal box.

Yeah I don't know the exact dimensions however I know it's no more that 1.5 cubic foot per sub..... I've been thinking about making the center counsel out of Fiberglas with a single L7' ...thanks for your help tho
