First off let me say sorry I don't have any model numbers on equipment.
I removed an old alpine radio that has the Ai-net out put in the rear.
The radio needed to be replaced because the screen went out.
The Ai-net output was connected to the alpine ai-net multi media controller, that was connected to 2 amps and a cd changer.
I know the cd changer is now not going to work.
I put a new Alpine 153bt deck in replacement of the old deck.
This new alpine doesn't have the ai-net output in the rear.
I ran a set of rcas from the front outputs to the analog inputs on the multi media controller.
Customer is unhappy with sound and I don't blame them they have 2 jl w7s and there is no bass what so ever and they are powered on and slightly moving but not preforming they way they should.

Here is my question.
Since the old radio used ai-net to control amps does this mean I need either another radio with an ai-net output or a aux output?
The rcas don't seem to do the trick.
Interior speakers sound good just no bass from subs
Thanks
Bernie

Did you adjust the crossover frequency and the other settings for the subwoofer output of the deck?
Are you using the 9 band parametric EQ?
Are you using the subwoofer RCAs?
Turn off the High pass filter of the deck and connect the front or rear RCA to the sub amp. Does it have more bass now?
