Hey all electrical wizards! I have a very old Rockford Fosgate Punch 500a2. Way back in the day I lent it to a friend for some reason cause I had it just laying around collecting dust. I ended up getting it back from him and he said when he installed it he may have put the positive power cable into the negative ground and the ground into the negative. This was about ten years or more ago and I'm just now finding this thing in my attic and would like to possible try to fix it.
My question is, is that possible? Can that damage anything switching the power cord and the ground wire and vice versa? I've opened up the amp to see if there was anything blown or burnt looking and I have found nothing visibly wrong with it on the mother board.
What can be wrong with it and how can it possibly be fixed?

If the power wire was properly fused it would have only blown that fuse. If it was not fused, the traces on the bottom of the circuit board may have become the fuse. Have you connected it to make sure it is broken?
