Have a 2014 Ram 2500 w/ factory Alpine system. Wanting to add LOC for an aftermarket amlifier, looking for the wire specs on the factory amp. Also would it be better to tap LOC on the input or output side of the factory sub amp?

before amp is fixed level outputs after the amp you are limited by the amps crossovers and eq, this system will lower the bass output at higher volumes, it would be best to use an RTA to see what signal will be the best for what you are trying to accomplish.

tag the output of the factory sub if you are adding subwoofer amplifier.
