hey guys , i have a 2008 hyundai veracruz . it has the res system with dvd player in the rear. anyway, everything works perfectly however, the display lights up blue but shows no info basically its a blank blue box....anyone have any suggestions?

it sounds like your LCD screen has failed. For a Hyundai it may be difficult or not cost effective to find someone to repair it, let alone be able to find the parts in the first place. I do not believe those radios are tied into the vin # so a used unit either from a salvage yard or ebay etc would likely be the cheapest option. Then of course you could go to a dealer and pay a large amount of money for a replacement.

You could probably replace the entire factory system for the same amount of money a dealer would charge for a new radio as you will pay for aftermarket items of better quality.
