hey if anybody wants to know how to get 70 db worth of sub output clarity and 24 db mid& hi-pass output clarity. its a mono loop using the right channel inputs on the xm3 .take the right outputs l/m/h and plug them into the left inputs. now plug your left outputs and plug them into your amps. :note you can achieve stereo sound by switching the input mode on the xm3 to mixed input and plugging left and right line from your deck into either hi & mid, mid & low or hi & low right channel inputs: This can be done on most multi-way crossovers. now turn all xover gains to less than half and turn on your system. this series of coustic xovers has been top of the line since it came out in summer of 1988. the bench specs for the xm3 i have says this xover has an s/n r of 103 db. The hi and mid passes are 13 db slope. The low has a 20.5 db slope. The channel separation is 83 db. Post me what you think of the difference in overall sound quality.

speaker outputs on all mosfet brand poweramps are 6 channel surround capable. mosfet 50, 55, 60, & 65's are 7 channel capable. wiring is standard   right front is grey. left front is white. right rear is purple. left rear is green. 5th & sixth channels wire accordingly. white to positive, grey to negative, green to positive, purple to negative thus leaving the black striped wires connected to main 4 channels. channel 7 wire accordingly. green to positive, grey with black stripe to negative. :note the white, grey, green, and purple wires (not the striped wires) can be wired to the line input on xover or amplifier by using a 16v 100uf capacitor (- side of cap to white wire & rca positive, + side of cap to the chassis of the - amp or xover)and a 2k resistor @ 10% tolerance (red ring on resistor connects to chassis of amp or xover, gold ring on resistor connects to grey wire & rca negative)(capacitor - connects to white wire & rca positive) (capacitor + connects to chassis of amp or xover): note this has to be done to all 4 speaker + wires: (resistor gold ring side connect to purple wire& rca negative). (capacitor - connects to green wire & rca positive) (capacitor + connects to chassis of amp or xover) now try it out!

Your first post will not be stereo. You will have both channels of information, but it will be the same on left as it is on the right. That would be mono.
