Okay I tried to work with the support line where I bought my Android deck from but they stated it was a generic deck that required splicing to a non specific wiring harness.

Everything works well accept the steering heel controls.

I had a single connector with 3 wires left over from my initial wiring of the deck.

The deck wiring said key 1, key 2, and TX.

Wired up what I thought was the correct leads and it still does not work.

My 1st deck had ISO connectors so there was no splicing and the controls worked, this deck does not. :(

Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

This is what the support guy asked?

thoughts?

My last CE deck was plug and play.

Thanks

Does your FJ come with original amplifier?

we have toyota cable, but some FJ need canbus to decode the canbus, so Iam not sure if your FJ require canbus or not.

Best Regards

If you have the 20 pin harness pictured in your rav4, you definitely have an amplified system in the vehicle. Is there a separate harness in the vehicle that has 3 wires on it? What year is the rav4? I do not remember ever seeing a Toyota that needed anything can related to do steering wheel controls.
