Hey guys, I'm in the process of upgrading my speakers and I'm debating on whether to get regular speakers and then but tweeters separately or getting coaxial speakers. what and why do you guys/gals prefer for a mid-range speaker
Thanks for the input!

I'm a separates kind of guy. What is your budget, what size holes do you have in your desired location? Do you mind making additional holes (either screw or mounting) for the separate tweeter?

A little more info from your end would be very helpful in our quest to address your concerns. :)

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

6.5 in front and back. 1" for tweeters. Budget would be around 2-300 per pair. And I'd probably try to stay away from cutting holes, although I would for tweeters, not speakers though. What are you thoughts on getting separate bonsai for speakers and put them in the back deck or something

Budget - $150-200
Power - 60-100w rms (per speaker)
Size - 6.5"

Just put in front speakers, have subs. Now need rear speakers. Up front I have coaxial. Need good mid/high speakers. I don't know whether I should get another set of coaxial or just regular Midbass speakers. Please offer me some input you guys. What speakers are you especially fond of. Any input would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Favorite mid-priced speakers: Infinity Kappa. If you have a good front set you do not need rear speakers.
