Howdy folks, This is my first post, I have been ghosting for awhile just no post till now, let me say this is one of the best over-all sites around, and thanks to all that help keep it running!
ok! In my manual for my new Infinity KAPPA 10"sub, it clearly states that a sealed box is .75cf and a ported box is 1.50 with a 3" @10" port, and above all that it claims "THIS INCLUDES SPEAKER AND PORT".... does that seem kind of small to you guys?
1). it states that the given size includes speaker and port
2) nowhere in the manual does it give the displacement of the speaker.
So although everything points to the 1.5 being the over-all internal area, this just seems really really small for this sub!! I know it is only a 10" sub, but man, even the cheap throw away 8" lanzars or Pyle's require like a .89..
Anyone using any of these Kappas this is the 100.9 with the S.S.I select-able switch 2-4 ohm WHAT IS EVERYONE'S INPUT ON THIS SIZE ISSUE (if there is)
