Hi all,
I have a Kenwood DDX9703S paired with a Memphis mc5.700. I am running a Kicker Comp R 400w on 1ohm. I have adjusted my gains using my TDS 465 o'scope (used 40hz @ 0db for amp and 1khz 0db for speakers). The speakers are 200w alphines in all 4 doors.

The bass generally sounds good at the maximum volumes, but is almost non-existent at lower volumes. Am I missing something? If I set my EQ to Powerful it sounds much punchier. I originally had a Rockford Fosgate but it went bad (had it for many years). I might add the speakers sound wonderful.

Something I'm not sure about and could use some input on, my speaker inputs sit around 700mv, they can go above that but I assume 1x is proper setting for them. However, the sub inputs are 2v at the same volume. I have them at 10x. Is this wrong? Should I use 1x too for that?

Any suggestions on getting this all sorted?

Does the radio have loudness? If so, turn it on.

It does. I have all that off presently. I don't want the audio louder, i want the bass higher. So right now, if the audio at 29 (max before clipping), I get a significant amount of bass...I want at like 24 there to be bass, right now theres almost nothing.

That is what the Loudness contour does.
