is it possible to wire a duel 2ohm voice coil sub to run a 2ohm load using both voice coils with a monoblock amp?

No, the only options for a single sub are limited. A dual four is 8ohm and 2ohm stable, as a dual two is 4ohm and 1ohm stable. Although if you add another dual 2 woofer then yes. You can run it at 2ohms because you are no longer limited on your load options. posted_image
