I'm ordering a 2 channel a/b 2200 watt amp and I plan on bridging it to get about 827Wx2 @ 2 ohms and I was wondering if this will be enough power to run 2 alpine swr 12D2 without clipping my amp or distorting my sub, and won't kill my 104a alternator? I don't think it'd harm my alternator because my calculations are that 850 watts roughly equal 90a.

It's going in a 03 Sierra 1500 V8

If it is a 2 channel a/b amplifier, chances are it is not 2 ohm mono stable. You will need to wire it 4 ohm stereo.

I could run a 4 channel 2600 watt amp and bridge it to get 973 x2 @4 ohm. I know this would be better on the subs but would a 104a alternator handle the RMS power
