hey, im wondering if this would be a good combo.

i want to run a pheonix gold 12 sub from a rockford 300s amp, which i can get a really good deal on. will the sub perform well with this amp? thanks

That's a nice amp.  I don't know about the Phoenix, never heard them in person, but as I learn more about car audio one of the things I picked up is that it's not so much the subwoofer itself as making sure it's in a good enclosure and properly powered.
If you can make the arrangements to do so, just hook them up and see how it sounds.

Which model # PG sub? They have about 3 different lines out now if I'm not mistaken

If its a Phoniex Gold Eltie, that is some nice serious stuff. Really for comp. That thing runs like 1200rms. Even if its not that Elite sub, PG is some nice subs, You should still listen to it before you bye it though. You byeing from dealership or ebay.
