I am trying to install an EinCar (Made in China) Head unit into my (like new) Cadillac Eldorado ESC (No Bose Audio). The unit will not "turn on"! According to data I am able to get the red wire is the one that gets 12 VDC switched to it when the ignition switch is set to the ACC position. Yet when I place the multi-meter on the red wire with I get a ground. The Yellow wire gets 12VDC constantly.
Your data tells me that the Orange wire gets constant 12 VDC and the yellow wire gets 12 VDC when the switch is set to the ACC position. I am not sure where or what wires you are referring to in your data. The wires I am referring to are the ones that go the the harness that is pluggeed into the back of the stereo. Please help me find out why my Radio will not turn on!

What year is the vehicle? Please tell me you did not hack the plug off the harness. Was there only 1 plug and was it blue in color?
