I'm thinking about buying the Kicker Solo-Baric S12L7 for $179 a piece. I want to buy two,but if I bought two or even for that fact. I don't know what kind of amp to get.There are so many choices out there on amps.So if anyone can help, please do.Also I'm on a budget so I can't spend alot of money on the amp.

I know your on a budget so I would suggest instead of going with the L7’s  go for the 4 ohm L5’s and (1) JBL 1200.1. Wire it in parallel and you will get 600 watts rms to each sub. I have heard this setup and it pounds.

So I need to get (2) Kicker Solo-Baric L5's 4-ohm? Is that what you are saying? What if I got the 2 ohm version of the subs with that JBL amp, will I get a stronger sound or the same?

The setup will not work with (2) 2 ohm dvc subs. the reason they offer 4 and 2 ohm dvc subs is for wiring purposes. And for the set up above you will need the 4 ohm model. Now if you were going to run (2) JBL 1200.1's then you would want the 2 ohm dvc model. And you would wire each sub in parallel to its separate amp giving you a 1 ohm load on each amp. Now you will be wiring (2) 4 ohm subs in parallel to (1) amp and you will be getting a 1ohm load on that amp.
