I want to hear what kind of systems do all of you guys have in your vehicles.  List what type of Vehicle also.  As my starter car I have a JBL 1200.1 on two Kicker CVR 15's.  I have 2 pioneer 3 way 6x9's and 2 5 1/4 pioneer 2 way on a small dhd 500 watt two channel amp.  My deck is Pioneer forgot the model but the one with the basic animations for about $250.  Aslo have four 200 watt tweeters hooked directly from radio.  Thats my set up what do you Guys have in your vehicles.

What do you mean by a theives dream question.  I believe if someone is willing to dish out the money for the setups listed they are welcomed too. You and I both know its not really what you got all the time but how it is set up and installed.

I've got a '98 Olds Intrigue with an old school JVC HU (KDSX950), Bose factory components (except the rear 6x9s--Alpine), MTX thunder 81000D, 2 Kicker XPL 15"s, and a custom 2.2 cu ft/sub wooden enclosure.

haha right now I'm rollin in the soccer mom car...96 grand caravan (yea you know you want oneposted_imageposted_image).  Kenwood 5.25s in the dash and 6x9s in the rear side panels.  Also the car didn't come with the infinity system but I put in aftermarket pioneer 5.25s in the doors and RF 3.5s in the rear tweeter pods.  All the speakers run off my good old Pioneer DEH-46DH chrsyler fit head unit.  Proifle 400sx amp bridged to a single MTX 6000 in a sealed enclosure.  the sub is rated for 250 watts RMS but I have 300 going to it and not had any problems at all.

My G35 is supposed to be built and shipped from good old japan sometime this fall (never know it might take longerposted_image ) and once I get that mofo I'm gonna have some fun hehe.  Plan on Kappa Perfect 6.5 components up front, kappa 5.25s in the rear doors, and probably a RF or alpine 4 or 5-channel amp.  Gonna keep the stock Bose head unit (factory xm and in-dash changer) and use a VEN4 adapter to send the signal to the aftermarket amp.

Plan on adding a dvd player and using the av electronic interface box to run it through the stock navigation screen.  Somehow I'll rig up a direct connection for the audio from the dvd to the aftermarket 4-channel amp so I that I don't have to use an fm modulator (YUCK!).

On a side note, anyone know of any 8" subs that can be used in a free-air setup?  I've looked around and not come up with many options. I intend to put an aftermarket sub in the rear deck to replace the 8" bose woofer.

I take things to far, I am running

2001 Silverado 1500 ext cab -  panasonic 9000u dvd in dash, 2 lcd's in rear seats, MTX 81000d Amp, 2 15in Mtx 8000 subs in 2.0 cubic ft boxes, Delphi XM system, T.V. tuner.  <--- my daily driver

1994 Camaro - Stock head unit for now, 4 Audiobahn 6.5 component sets(12 speakers total) running off a Audiobahn 4125HCT, 4 12in RE XXX subs running off 2 Audiobahn 2300hct amps 1200 watts to each sub, 2 pioneer 6x9 3 ways running off a Audiobahn 275HCT .  a 6 farad gives power and 2 optima battaries from a 200 amp altenator.  I am looking to add an alpine 7898 head unit and redo the  interior carpet because the stock clashes with the blue lights off the amps at night.  I will make pics when I am done with the interior remodel.  system hits hard, replaced the rear glass on a peak output power up.

IF ANYONE HAS CAMARO FRONT SEATS IN BLACK OR GREY LEATHER I NEED SOME BAD....

well guys this is what i got.  1987 full size Ford Bronco 4x4. I have a Boss Audio cd player, 1 Boss rev 895 4ch 4x85wrms, 1 Boss m7500 4ch 4x 175wrms, 1 Boss R3000D mono block . 2 Boss 4" ripper 2 ways, 2 Boss 5.25" ripper 2 ways, 2 Boss ripper 6.5 comp set, 4 Boss ripper 6x9's. and for the deep end i have 8 MSX audio classic 12's  I have a 200 amp alt. 2 1000amp Duralast batts and and a 400amp 200 farad batcap. all the wire is Boss link. 1/0 from the batts to the batcap then 4awg to the amps. Now I know what some of you guys are gonna say, "Boss! that stuff sucks" Well let me tell you something. this system rocks. It sounds great to me and alot of people I have met around town. I have heard alot of high buck systems with rf and jl and jbl and alpine and the other brands and mine sounds just as good. for about 1/2 the bucks. Now I'm not downing those brands they are all very very good. I try not to down anyones system becuase everyone feels that the system they built is something to be proud of.

I have a 02 Impala LS , Head unit Pioneer 840mp, for my mids and highs I have MB Quart QSD 216 up front and MB Quart DTC 169 for rear fill all powered by a Diamond Audio D7104. For the lows I have 2 Eclipse titanium 88120TI powered by 2 Diamond Audio D7401's.

1996 Honda Accord EX (4 dr), 6.5 JBL GTO635's up front and a pair of 6x9 MB Quart DKC169's in the rear deck. My JBL's are running off my Pioneer Premier DEH-550MP HU and the Quarts are running off a Coustic 161SE amp. No sub as of yet. Still tweaking, but I believe that I've got it sounding as good as it can possibly sound without any major overhauls. I installed everything myself with a little advice from the great people in this forum and loved doing it. It is rather addictive if you know what I mean. It's not so much the "STUFF", but the plan that you put into place and the actual accomplishment of the job, although if you're hardcore, it's never fully complete.

My setup is seriously mild compared to others:

1997 Nissan Altima GXE:  Stock head unit with a 4 channel adjustable line output converter going into 1 Us Acoustics 4085 4 channel amp.  The amp is running 2 JBL GTO626 6.5's in the back and 2 GTO7525 5x7's in the front doors.  next week I'm adding an FM modualted 6 disk changer to complete the mild package.

there are also some other unmentionable anti theft measures taken in the event that someone really thinks they want my gear...they wont get far posted_image...

I am not sure how much longer I will have this particular setup in my car, cuz I have so much other junk to use as well, and I get bored quick...my Stroker 18 may go back in soon, but I no longer have my Mmats d200hc...I have a Crossfire bmf1000d in the shop cuz I cooked it when my alternator failed to put out enough power...now I have a 250A alternator, and 2 1100 cca batteries...I am hoping to not have power problems for awhile...

I have been seriously considering using some Diamond gear soon, cuz its really sweet, and I am getting tired of installing it in other peoples cars, lol...lookin at TDXs and probably the D5s, cuz internally the D5 and the D7s are the same, and I probably cant afford to shell out so much extra for that deadsexy heatsink, heh...props to you that are already using this sweet equipment...

Well lets see if I can remember all the model numbers.  This is not installed yet.  I am waiting and doing the whole install at once.

Receiver:  Kenwood Excelon KTV-911DVD

Front speakers: Alpine SPS 460A(4x6) power from the head unit

Infinity Perfect 5.1 (5.25 components in kick panels)

Rear Speakers:  Infinity perfect 6.1(6.5 components)

Both the components run by a Profile Clarus CL640 pushing 75 watts to each set.

Subs: 2   12inch JLW0 with an old profile2200 amp powering

            1   10inch RF HE2 with a JBL BP600.1 powering it

I plan on upgrading in a year or so.  I just have some of this stuff left from my last car.  My grand-total spent is somewhere around $4000.  This is over a few years so it didnt seem as expensive.  I dont think I left anything out.  Oh yeah, I also have a PS2 to put in.
