Ok i was just wondering, im going to have a box made for my sub...on the instructions i got it says..... 6.0 cu ft + port....3.5x16 25" port. 13.75"long, does that mean the box is 6 feet by 6 feet????? how the hell do u fit that in a trunk??

6.0 cu ft + port....3.5x16 25" port. 13.75"long).?? 6 cubic ft is not 6X6.. a box around 40" wide by 16" tall by 20" deeo would be close to 6 cubic ft. You can use this sites calculators
https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#rec to come up with a size that will fit your trunk. Just get some rough dimensions of your trunk and go from there to see what will fit. BUT be sure to remember the box has to be able to go through the opening to your trunk so that will affect the dimension and shape of the box as well. Hope that helps you out some.
I know you got the specs from the L7 manual for SPL/Deep Bass. There are some more things to remember though...
The 6.0 cu. ft. is the free air volume that your sub requires for that puopose. It does not include the displacement of the sub or the port. Your subs displacement is 0.160 cu. ft. and the port is 0.453 cu. ft. Overall, you need an enclosure that has a Total Internal Volume of apx 6.613 cu. ft.
The port is rectangular, 3.5" Wide x 13.75" High x 16.25" Deep
Kicker actually provides you with the dimensions on Page 30 of your manual. 32" Wide x 17.75" High x 24.25" Deep, with a built in rectangular port.
Cubic Feet is (Length x Width x Depth). Since most enclosures are first measured in cubic inches, you have to convert into cubic feet. (Cu. In. / 1728) = Cu. Ft.
