Depends they can start around $300 for a simple upgrade and go into the thousands depending on how much power you need. But generally it’s in between $300-$500.

Depends on the size you want and the vehicle its going in. I've been looking myself at getting one, seen prices from around $150 to$250.

im looking at putting it in a 2000 4runner but am not sure if an optima battery with a 1 farad cap will be enough. Im running a 1001bd 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate amp and a 301x RF amp.

get a ac delco 200amp 1 wire alt. about 200 to 300 or have a local shop build you one then hook up the 1 alt wire to your + on the bat. and ground the alt to your batt. Big Purds also has a guy who does alt work he has the e-mail address for that guy.
