Ok, I need to wire my Soundstream Class A 10.2 to my 2 soundstream SPL 15s. They are DVC with 2/8ohm voice coils. I need to get to at least 1ohm with the amp for it to make its peak power. How would I wire this??? This amp is capable of goign down to 1/4 ohm, just so you know.

Your woofers are 2 X 8ohm?  The lowest you can go with those would be 2 ohms (each woofer's VC's in parallel = 4 ohms, two of those in parallel = 2 ohms.)

Those subs are Dual 4 ohm so you can wire them in parallel for a 1 ohm load https://www.audiobahninc.com/tech/wiring/parallel_parallel_dual_4.pdf What he means by 2/8ohm is (1) sub can either be ran at 2 or 8 ohms.

Gotcha!  Thanks.  I couldn't find the specs for model SPL 15... must be an older model?

Ya it's a good 5 years old. Perhaps older.

Soundstream used to have the owners manuals on the website... but now that they updated the site, they don't have anything anymore.
