I have an Orion(XTR 400) amp and a PPI(PC2200) amp that I need repaired. I bought them both off of Ubid and they were both DOA. Money well spent. Half of the stuff I bought from them was defective. Am I the only one that had this problem? Any way if you can repair these amps E-mail me. Thanks.

If you bought from one of Ubids own auctions they are very good about their customer service. I had some Audiobahn subs that went bad, Ubid said that they came with a 1 year warrantee through Audiobahn on the auction page. Audiobahn said that Ubid was not an authorized dealer. Ubid then refunded me my money + my shipping and paid for the return shipping,

Well for Maxst, if nothing looks broke and you still want the amp, find out where the local shops send there repair work and call them and see what they say. For QuinnX1, if the amps are either current or previous year models then you could call orion or ppi and see how much they would want to fix them. I live in phoenix and I took one back to orion and they fixed it for $45.00, I believe that rate was a flat rate but that might have changed when dei bought them out.

Theres the problem, since DEi bought them they don't repair amps. You send them back and they send you a RB 2003 model. Since the company I bought the amps from are not factory authorized I would have to pay 125 a piece. I refuse to pay that much on top of what I have already payed! Oh well, I have two nice paper weights.
