What are some ways to blow a sub? Are there different ways to do this? The sub is an Audiobahn, the smallest 12" they make. I think it is like 400 watt or so.

give it a 1000W in an oversized box...

take it out of a box and play it as loud as you can with all of your gains and boosts cranked...

plug it into a wall socket...

put something heavy on the cone and play it for awhile...

yeah the 120v outlet is cool....thats what we do with factory door speakers that the customer doesnt want back!   oh yeah another way to blow a sub is set the amp crossover to highpass.  or to have it ridiculously underpowered, that will also blow a sub.  well good luck.
