I am doing an install of a head unit and an amp in a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. The amp is too big to fit under the front seats or under the pull out rear bench. Any other ideas where to put it? Anyone else do an install in a Cherokee with possible pictures? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

A buddy of mine has a 1990 limited and he mounted his amp right in the center on the floor behind the back seat, he then made a protective cover out wood and added 2 fans.  Seems to work fine for him.

I had the same problem. What I did was I cut a hole in the bench and make a fiberglass box and fit it down into the hole. Then i covered the box with Dynamat (had extra)..I had drilled holes in the fiberglass for wires and such. I added neon lights around it and but the fiberglass cover on it and screwed it down with four screws(one in each corner)..works fine and has some lighting effects to it..only problem was it would overheat pretty quick cause i was broke at the time and couldnt afford fans. Overall it was good when i got fans for it..It was somewhat of a time consuming and somewhat expensive job but everyone seemed to like it

why not just mount the amp on the back of the rear seat? Its an easy location thatll give you a nice clean look without having to worory about fans to cool the amp.
