I have a 15" L7 running on a jbl Bp 1200.1 And im not impressed at all.  I have had it for about three months now so the speaker is brolen in and its not sounding as good as I hoped.  To tell the truth it sounds like sh*t! excuse my french.  I believe i have enough power going to it no dimming lights play with gain and everyuthing wired it in parallel and series just not what I was hoping.  i know there are alot of subs out the but im looking for something that has good SQ that can get low too.  I want to spend at most 450 bucks.  Any size speaker or speakers.  I tried the kicker cvr 15's before i got the L7 and wasnt impressed either any 15 or 12 out ther in my price range or a little over best for me.  I really dont want to change my amp if anything I would get another.  thanx any help would be appreciated.

I finally heard the Elcipse Aluminum the other day. It sounded pretty sweet. The titaniums are supposed to be a lot better. The Diamiond Audio TDX series was pretty nice too. Just somewhere to start. Personally I have recently changed my mind to Xtant's. They were really clean and sounded great. Not really loud or boomy though.

I posted earlier about my problem.  i have a 15" L7 solo baric on a jbl 1200.1 and im not satisfied in what i hear.  Would three RFD2212 DVC SUB Rockford Fosgate HX2 12" subs be better.  Its the punch series not power.  they would be in three ported boxes.  Any suggestions or any other ideas would help.  thanx

Demo a JL 13W7 if you can.
The SQ is better. (IMHO)

3 of the RF's you mentioned would definately slam hard, but dont know of you would get the sq you are seeking. Other choices to think about depends on the money. Are you saying $450 total for any number of subs??? Im assuming you are, so, I know you are wanting loud, but still sound good. The Eclipses that were mentioned above would give you that but can cost some money depending on where you get them. Killer budget subs that i personally use are the lower end Diamonds, the CM3 series. They are dvc, 500rms, very sweet subs. You could run a pair of them off that JBL and have a good set-up that i think you would be very impressed with. Was this going in the F-150??? One thing i think really makes the Diamonds do so well is the recommended enclosure for them. If you can have a square style box then they work really well with a transmission line porting system that really brings out the lows in them. Well it works very well on the 10's and 12's anyways. But they do do very well in small sealed boxes as well.....just my opinions.

the L7 is in a 4.5 cu ft box.  It gets low at some times but dont hit worth a sh*t.  I live in georgia not too many people have the diamonds but im wiling to try things.  But auex you might suggest me getting a bigger box or ported but it wont fit in my trunk have to be bulit in.  Have tried subzones boxes and many other vented boxes none fit thats why im going to either the 2 or 3 12" set up.  I have a 96 chrysler concorde.

have you thought about putting the L7 in a smaller box?  Also, do you have poly-fill in the box?  If you do you may wish to try removing the poly-fill.

I had it in a small box when i first got it.  it didnt drop worth a crap.  But the bigger box gave it some drop but no hit no what i mean.  No poly-fill in it.  would 12, be better than 15 in response also

I wanted to know if you guys think an Alpine Pro MRV T757 would push a 15" L7.  I have got alot of mixed reviews about this amp.  Would it do a better job than my JBL 1200.1.  Any help would be thankful.  Oh and do anyone think 2 12" punch HX2's would hit harder than one 15" L7.  Thanks.
