Hello everyone this is my first post and was looking for a little help, I recently installed 2 memphis 500D's, two memphis hpo dvc 4ohm 15's, lighting cap, and optimia red top,  and my problem is when I add the remote to one of the amps after a minute or so the light begins to jump back and forth between protection and power  when the speakers are wired they also pop with the light jumping and if I wire the remote from that amp to the other both amps do the same thing but the other doesn't do it unless they are wired together  I checked all connections, fuses, etc.  the amps are stable at 2 ohms and I have the speakers in parallel any help or pointers I would greatly appreciate

I suggest you check voltage @ your amp (constant and remote.) IF this checks ok and one of your amps seems fine, it is most likley your amp. try bench checking the suspected amp, if you don't have the equipment for this, try hooking it to the wires from the amp that is good.
