Greetings 12voltians, I seek your guidance regarding my impending capacitor install. I figure my system will run about 800 watts I am installing a 2.5 f cap.  4ga wire to a distribution block is the plan for wire. the question is where to tap in for say a crossover?  Do I take power before the cap or leave it on an independant line?  Could I fry my crossover wiring it to the cap? Is it reccomended that you ground thru cap whatever you feed thru it?

Thanks

Tap the crossover in at the distribution block for power, get yourself another distribution block for all of the ground wires. You do not need to run two wires to the cap for power and ground, ie:  in and out. You only need to have 1 power wire and 1 ground wire attached from the cap to the distribution blocks, current flows in two directions. And no, you will not fry the crossover.
