Alright I have 2 12in Infinity Kappas they RMS @300 and Peak @1200 I was looking at the JBL 600.1 for amp to drive these but I'm not sure does anyone have any suggestions?

I think that amp is one of the best amps out there for that price.  I own that JBL amp myself and absolutely love it.  It will drive those subs perfectly.

OK som if I go with that amp should I wire the subs parallel so they are at a 2ohm load or should I leave them at a 4 Ohm load? what would be the wattage on the subs on either load?

Look at the specs on your amplifier, note the load, and decide whether you should wire them in parrallel to cut the load in half, or in series to doulbe it.

if it was a 2 ohm load, the amp would push a total of 600 watts rms (300 per speaker). if it was a 4 ohm load the amp would push 300 watts rms (150 per speaker). what are the ohm ratings on your subs?

which model kappa's are they, my friend is running the perfect's at about 200wrms per sub, 100w under the subs rms and its just amazing what he is getting out of them.
