What size woofer should i go with in an explorer? I am not looking to blow the windows out just add a little bass to my music.

A single 10" sub would probably be fine for you, a 10" that works in a small sealed box like the Lightning Audio S3.10.4 has a good amount of output for a vehicle that size. It is fairly inexpensive, uses a .75 cu.ft. sealed enclosure and sounds great.

I would agree, you could even go with a single 12"  I have a 98 explorer and I have two 12, a little over powering but remember there's a lot of cabin space and if you want to fill that I would even recomend getting a ported box to give a little more "boom" to what your listening too.  Even for the 10" too.  Hope that helps...

Yes I agree with forbidden.  I used to run Lightning Audio in my old Explorer... I had 2 12's and that was plenty so a 10 should work perfect for that little bit of bass your looking for.
