"Hi guys, I am in the market for a 12" sub, and just wondering 150WRMS is really enough to drive a 12" Kicker Comp Sub. By the way what is the different between Kicker Comp 12'" and Kicker Ex 12"?? Which is better? Anyway this is my amps specs...Amp(Kenwood Kac-626) Max Power OutPut (4 Ohms) normal 100 W x 2 Bridge Rated Power Output (4 Ohms) 150 x 1(1 kHz 0.8 % THD) Rated Power Output (2 Ohms) Nomal 75 x 2 (1 kHz 0.8 % THD) Thanks :)"

Thats the best i could see if i missed some sorry.

150 will drive a sub, as long as the RMS of the sub is near 150 watts.  Say, if the sub is rated at 200 RMS.  You don't need the better of the two subs, you need the one that is rated the lowest RMS.

cut and paste.you s hould look for a single voice coil 4ohm sub or a dvc 2ohm. rated at about 150wrms.

150 watts is plenty for general listening on any sub.  You will not know if it is enough for your taste until you try it!
