Help me built a box for my diamond m6. I'm confuse the manual say 1.75~.6 internal volume, is the 1.75 the max and .6 the minimum ? What would you guys suggest to have sq and be able to hit low ? I'm gonna use viper 1200.1 to power it. thanks....

I really think Diamond has their own interests at heart when they give the sizes.  Reputation's at stake!  If the enclosure is at the smallest size at .6, or at the largest size at 1.75, they have proved that the performance will be as specified.  So  take your vehicle space into consideration when you plan the enclosure.  How much space can you give up for it?  Do they suggest using polyfil for the smaller sizes?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

well, if you want it to hit low, you are gonna want to be closer to the 1.75. I dont remember off the top of my head what that sub handles. If you are gonna be giving it more than you should, then you will wanna stick closer to the .6 (I wouldnt go that low though. Just be sure that when you make it that you take the volume of the woofer into consideration. good luck

I have a 01 tahoe, so i have no problem with space. Rms is 800 watts. I'm not sure if .6 is the smallest because of the ~ sign between the 1.75. The amp will give 1200 watts rms at one ohm load so, do you guys think 1.1 would be on the safe side.

If you're wanting the most out of that sub, Diamond will actually recommend a transmission style ported enclosure for it. Best thing you can do is drop them an email. They have a very good support team who will give you some great advice plus the drawings for the perfect enclosure. Trust me, I've dealt with them alot and they love to help out.
