how's it going everyone... Well I have a 1991 mitsubishi eclipse and a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt, I am making my 3000 a show car. And I have already decided to go with an Alpine deck, MB quart mids and highs, and either two kicker solobaric 12L7's or one Solo X 18... I am going for both sound quality and earth shaking bass when i need it, with exceptional sound quality...

My question is will I be better off with viper amps or phoenix gold amps?

I like the stats on both company's and have had tremendous bass from my previous viper amp, but im insure as to which I should get... Any input is greatly appreciated -thankyou-

Personally, i would go with the pheonix as a general comment. I can make a biased comment and say that based on i like pheonix better. You need to tell us which series. There is a big difference between the top and low line of these products, as with any other manufacturer. This is a very vague question that needs some more direction to it.

I do like the octane series, but in a month or so I'll have enough bank to buy phoenix's top of the line

I listened to a new PG Xenon 12 powered by a Xenon amp, f-ing awesome! This set-up was nicely balanced between SQ and SPL.
