Ok I have often heard stories of people having these amazing lil 10" subs that pack some SERIOUS juice.. right nwo I ve got 2 12" mtx 8000's and two 12" mtx 6000's ( Im runnin the 2 8000's and one 6000 off a alpie mrv1507)..... Is there any 10" sub that can beat these in sq and spl without being a major hole in the pocket?? Im thinking of trying to adapt a system that uses less space and the base gets a little muddy with these subs when Im listen to reggae with fast base tones and stuff... any ideas for a really good 10" sub ( if I keep the amp I have?? ) or if I were to buy a new amp?? thanks much!

never listened to a setup of that sort. but if you want a 10" that will do good you also need to drop a lil' change...Eclipse sw8102dvc/sw8102.4 and sw9102 are good, diamond audio tdx -10d2 or 10d4 series, jbl w10gti. Alpine has good subs also but not quite as high end

The MMATS Pro Cast series has a excellent 10" sub. Ive heard a few cars with these in them, and they put out intense bass. Heres a link to a site that has them  https://www.lightav.com/car/mmats/subwoofers.html.  JL Audio also makes a killer 10".

I reccomend the Eclipse aluminum 10" sub. Its an awesome sub but it costs about $350 or so retail.

Check out an Alpine Type R, Infinity Perfect, or Adire Shiva if you want good SQ and bass for less than the $300+ you'll spend on Eclipse or Diamond.

Thanks for the recomendation, but unfortunately I have to let you know that the Shiva is a 12.  Our pure SQ subs are actually our Koda 10 or the Brahma 10.
