Ive got two  of these and was wondering first off, are these any good?

Second, they are 200 watts rms each so should i look for an amp that puts out 200 rms?

Still not sure of what type of enclosure to put them in, ported or sealed?

Any help appreciated

wow the XLC's are the oldskool RF's and they are kick ass. I had a single XLC 12, it was BANG'N off only like 100 watts. I'd say push their full RMS and they'll put out some nice accurate bass. As for the enclosure, go sealed if ur looking for tighter bass or ported if ur lookin for more boom (sorry, dont know what their best tuning fq would be but I'd guess around 32hz).

sealed box 0.35-0.50 cu.ft sound good? ,would closer to .35 be best?

Oh i was looking at an amp at the local shop, its a rodek 2 channel ,150 w rms a side. good choice?

I have heard of rodek and i beilieve there solid amps but i dont think there around anymore.

Got bought out i think and now the name sits collecting dust i guess until they put some pos together in china and stick there name on itposted_image

So what do you guys think of rodek?

They also have a pair of alphasonic amps, hlx 2075 ,only prob is they dont have the wiring plugs, and i'm not sure i can find them, can get these 2 pretty cheap cause the no plugs thing.

If you can't find specs on those subs, https://www.sound.westhost.com/tsp.htm is a way to find them out and find the enclosure size.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
