I installed a kenwood KRC-208S, cassette deck with a 6 disc changer, on my 99 F-150 and everything works great except for the CD Mode.  Only my Front Left (FL) and Rear Left (LF) speakers work on CD mode.  Tuner and cassette modes work fine, with output to all of my speakers.  Does anyone know the possible problem?  It is not my "balance", I already checked that.

Most likely an open circuit in the wiring or plugs connecting the deck with the changer.  You could test each of the wires for continuity.  If all wiring is good, and you've eliminated the plug or plugs as problems, then the problem would have to be internal.  The speaker wiring is good, and the deck is receiving proper power...as evidenced by both the tuner and cassette behaving properly.

try wiggling the data connector at the back of the Head unit... they sometimes develop halo cracks around the pins... could also be a problem in the audio section of the changer itself.....

Thank you all for your help.  I will try what you have said, check for continuity and wiggle my connectors.

Thanks
