Howdy all:

I removed a defective stock radio from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee this morning to install an after market Pioneer head unit. Central locking, all guage level (fuel, odometer, speedometer etc), plus radio don't work no more. I do certainly know that the Pioneer head unit works when tested on a seperate 12v power unit.

Owner's manual haven't been helpful, neither has the dealer. Can ayone help please.

Thanks.

you had to have blown a fuse..if theres not one under the dash in the fuse box...check to see if theres a second box under the hood..not sure on the cherokees.

Thanks to all who replied. I traced it back to a fuse under the hood. Still got a problem with the stock amp I believe. But now ALL the gauges works again. Thanks all.
