Just installed  a new pioneer deh-7600mp head unit in my truck and now I get like a humming niose from my amp and subs.  It also makes a bang when you turn it on, off and when you change the staiton on the radio.  I have had this stereo in my truck for about a year and a half with no problems.  All I changed was the head unit, no wiring was touched.  Any help would be appreciated.

Check your ground wires & also rca cables.

get rid of your pioneer deck.

Just kidding, pioneer is OK, but they are notorious for strange noise problems.  Next time maybe check into the pioneer premier lineup, better components and a better warranty. Or better yet, get an eclipse deck. :)

-------------
Deck -     Eclipse CD8443 - $475
Speakers - Boston BAZ5 - $1000
Amp -      Alpine MRV-T420 - $400
Car -      1988 PLymouth Colt - $450, it's been rolled!

it only does it when the rca's are plugged in to the sub out puts.  When I plug them into the rear speaker output, no noise.

3 sets of outputs on the deck, front, rear, sub
