Do you mean where does it go?

The new HU goes where the eq/cassete is..you have to have a dash kit. The wires for the HU are on the brain, under the dash..Theres 3 plugs and the antenna wire that you need..you unplug them and fish them through where the eq/cassete was and wire a adapter harness to em.

Where the volume control is now..is just a module..its comes out..and the kit should come with a pocket that goes there.

Hope thats what you wanted.

This vehicle has a hidden amplifier that is 99% of the time a silver box. It is situated directly above and to the right of the gas pedal against the firewall. The wiring is on top of the unit and the "box" needs to be unbolted in two spots to remove it and get to the wires. The first bolt is accessable from below. The second (crosses fingers)is behind the pull out ashtray. Remove the ashtray look for a second bolt there. Once this unit is removed the tuner module up top goes dead. It can be removed and replaced with a kit like the Scosche GM1518. The new radio goes in the center of the vehicle below the heater vents. You will need a new kit for this as well because the dash cavity has a very limited mounting depth. The kit here is GM1482 and is available in multiple colors (except flamer pink). The heat vents need to be removed from the factory bezel and placed into the new kit. A GM02 harness and MDA1 antenna adaptor will take care of the rest of the wiring issues.
