I'm getting an Error-01 message on my display. I have an Alpine CHA-S624 changer.
I'm able to eject the disk cartridge from the changer with no problems, but when I re-insert it and it checks the disks, it gets hung up on disk 3 (whether there's a disk 3 in there or not) and the display will read ERROR-01.
I've tried with a disk only in slot 1, or only slot 3, and many other variables, but nothing seems to work. I'd like to avoid sending it in for repair but it seems inevitable :(
Any ideas?

Have you tried unplugging it for a couple of minutes and seeing if it just needs to reset itself? I have seen them work after doing this before.
