hello to the 12volt community

I have engine noise in my system its really loud. its coming from my DHD preamp equalizer. its not my HU or amp. the EQ is sharing the same ground as the HU and the same ACC power. could this be the problem if so where else in the car can i find another ACC wire to power the seperatly.

often the problem lies in the ground...

find a peice of metal around the mounting area...drill a hole, scrape all the paint off untill bare metal..then ground it to that...

If your ground is good it could be that the eq is bad.  Time to replace it.
