I have  a 91 Toyota pickup ext cab, the subs im looking are 2 kicker S12L7, 2 audiobahn ALUM12Q, or 2 audiobahn AW1206T.  Im looking for the subs that will hit the hardest and play loud.

I got 1 kicker L5 10 running off a Kicker KX. 600.1 mono amp and that sh*t sound like 2 15s or atleast that what people says. My sh*t bangs at volume 3 on my HU. If I were you I'd go with Kickers and I only got 1 Ten, a L5 at that...Put the right amp to those kickers and you gone get respect whereever you go. And you'll also be able to talk sh.t and Back it up TRUST ME.

What makes my car Bang:
Kicker KX 600.1 Mono amp (2004)
Kicker Solobaric L7 10 (2004)
Long Ported Box Single
Kicker 200.4 4 Channel(2004)
Kicker DX 60 6 1/2
Rockford Fosgate FRC3369 6x9

I don't really think you've heard loud....I've heard two 12L5's and they get pretty loud..but one 10L5 wouldn't do it for most people tryin to get loud. The Solobaric series subs are loud subs although they will lack in sq quite a bit.

yeah i was leaning towards kicker i just was wondering since i found audiobahn a little cheaper and seemed to handle more watts according the the specs.  I think im gonna stick with the kicker though.

I used to run 2 Audiobahn 12 Alum12q. way overrated but they got pretty loud, and I also used to run 2 L7 10's in a ported box and they distorted way to much for my liking but kicker the better of the 2 yes. But me in that price range I would go with JL or buy some Alpine type r.

I would go with Kicker over Audiobahn any day. Since you seem to be looking for a sub that leans more towards SPL take a look at a Resonant Engineering sub. They make great subs that blow away anything by kicker or audiobahn (except for the kicker solo X).

I think he's probably looking for a good sql sub. RE's only true SPL sub is the MT. Don't let that fool you though. The XXX's and SX's get very loud and even the SE's and RE's wont disapoint you.

RE subs are one of the bigs one for SPL competitions. MMATS are also very impressive in both SPL and SQ. The Juggernaut is amazing, but they are also quite expensive. i think they sell them over at woofersetc.com.

Mmats are way too expensive for many people..especially those on a budget. Id suggest going with Dual SX 12's or 15's..whatever your budget fits. The SX's will probably get just as loud as the XXX's, but wouldn't have quite the sq the XXX maintains. If you can afford just one sub, go with a single SX18 or 15 in a very large ported box. That would be perfect for competitions and daily use. IMO strict SPL subs aren't the best for daily use..its when you find that mixture of both great spl and sq that makes a good daily driver..and should be perfect for local comps.

Nevertheless, MMATS in undeniably one of the best audio companies out there, making very efficient and strong audio products available. The SQ and SPL numbers they can produce are extraordinary. Dump the Audiobahns and the kickers, and get a pair of P1's, or go get Adire Shivas. By the way, you can buy MMATS on woofersetc.com

I really hope you wernt suggeting Rockford P1's? Cause if you were you might want to go get  a catscan. I personally have never had a problem recomending Kicker to anyone. They are kinda power hungry but dont sound that bad and can get real loud. You can go with whatever you want but I would suggest buying locally if possible because if you are doing competion then you are gonna be really pushing your gear and might want to make sure that warrenty isint gonna be a hasstle if you blow one up.

no, the MMATS P1's. They replaced the MMATS edition of woofers remember? It went MMATS series, Professional Series (Now the P2), Procast Series (P3), Dreadnaught series (Little less beef than Juggs) and finally Juggernauts. The P1's are great, dont' require a lot of power, and blast. I highly recommend any MMATS products.
