Subject: which Amp for my subs?

Hi Guys! I have two Sony L101P5 10" Sub-Woofers (SVC), each is 300W RMS & they are 4 ohm subs.
I was thinking of getting a Mono amp and connect them in parallel for a 2 ohm load.

So, I need an amp which does 600W RMS @ 2 ohms (correct me if I am wrong). So far I have found:

Sony XM-D6000GTX
Sony XM-SD61X

These amps do 600W RMS @  2 ohms. Any more suggestions?

Also what rated capacitor should I use to power the amp, 1.5 Farad?
Should I put both subs in the same enclosure or in different ones? What are the pros and cons of that?
Please help me out here everyone!

Thanks :)

You don't have to match the power handling of your speakers to your amp. You can choose from alot more than just amps that do 600w @ 2ohm. You don't need a cap at all. Put them in seperate chambers.

If I dont have to match the power of subs with my amp, I can buy Sony XM-DS1600P5 from a friend for cheap.
Its ratings are as follows:
500W RMS @ 4 ohms
900W RMS @ 2 ohms

I was afraid that this will overpower my subs and cause damage.
If someone can assure me that its okay, then I will get this amp as I will get it for way cheap!

Thanks!

If the gains are properly set, you should be fine, but if you want I'm sure someone will give you a second opinion. Right now I'm having problems with FedEx and my W7, so to get me by I have a Pioneer 12" rated at 150 RMS, running of of my 1000w Alpine amp. It's only been a few days but it seems fine. I don't push it for extended periods of time, but you wouldn't be going quite as overboard as I am. Read this Post

Thanks for the info! Any suggestions on how to set the gain properly?
