SO I went ahead and got Sirius for my Deck and Now I need a place to mount the Antenna, only thing is Unless I mount it on the hood between my washers It seems like theres a lot of work involed
I really want to mount it on the roof in the back of the car but every pic Ive seen of this type of mounting looks like its comming from the gasket that holds the rear window in
So anyone have any suggestions, I dont want to have to run the wire thru or around any gaskets so I dont have to worry about leaks, and it just looks plain dumb on the hood
BTW the cars a 2004 Civic Sedan
Thanks all

put it on the trunk lid, by the back window, then run the wire into the trunk, that is by far the easiest way to do, hardly any work involved, i do tons of cars this way.

put it on the rear deck (if no tint) or on the dash. About 99% of the ones we do the antenna is in the car with no customer complaints.
I got it mounted on the trunk lid without causing my trunk seal to leak, no I just have to get some paint and paint it to match my car, im not found a a big black dot on a silver car
Thanks All

Anybody seem to notice how much more Sirius loses signal compared to XM?? We seem to find no matter where we mount the Sirius antenna, we get a lot of customer complaints. I guess it is because Sirius doesn't use repeaters on the ground like XM
I can't complain about the signal from sirius around here, in our shop we can have the door closed and still get a signal. it is a small shop and ther is only one small westward facing window.
XM generally does have stronger signal, you can get a XM signal with Sirius antenna's

Down here in south florida it never craps out and today its raining and Im getting great signal
plus I dont pay a dime for it so I wont complain even if it no longer comes in
