I am installing a system in a 2004 hummer.. I read over the past topics about the line convertor .. Just to make sure I'm understanding How I would connect it..  I saw that someone said to tap into the 2 wires  in the back speakers right befor the connection to the speaker and to tap into both of them..  ??? Would I tap into the speakers in the very back on the wall ?? Would I use the acc for the remote?? any input will be helpful thanks

get a good line output converter and tap into the Bose subwoofer speaker leads, that is the only way to get low frequency tones in that vehicle. The rear speaker are high and low passed(bandpassed). The amp is in the center console, that is where you tap into the speaker leads.

Well actually, there is no acc in that vehicle, the Class 2 data bus controls the on/off functions of everything in that vehicle.I use the SoundGate GMACC interface to get a 12 volt output, it uses the RAP relay in there, so it will stay on until the key is removed or until the door is open, like the radio does, i think they cost about 30 bucks or so.

Just a slight correction.  I think most of us new what you meant Jazzy.  There's no accessory line at the radio.  You can get it at the ignition harness, or fuse box.
