i have an alpine era-g320 it works and every thing i just cant get it to turn off there is a pink wire that i did not connect cause the past user had it cut really short do i need that any 1 with helping info please replt asap i would greatly app it

Sounds like you have the swtched +12V connected to a constant source.

As for the pink wire, I am not sure as to what that is for, but try going here and downloading the owners manual.

If i could attach a file i would give you the manual....I thing you may have the wrong power plug...There is no pink wire on the Alpine ERA-g320 plug.

Do you have an e-mail adress...i'll send you the PDF of the manual

In the past, the PINK wire is for Cell phone mute.

Make sure you didn't cross the power wires.  What HU are you using?  This EQ has a switch for AI and non AI HU's.  If used with an Alpine AI net unit.  The EQ and the HU will loose certain functions because it will be control by the other unit (either HU or EQ not both).  But power isn't one of these.
