Just installed my amp into my truck. Hooked everything up and noticed that my sub plays the sounds the deck makes when its working or something. On top, i've got an alternator whine so I assume just a bad ground/ground-loop.

P.S. Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find anything in Search

yup, use a dmm to check the resistance of various spots to the negative terminal on the batt to ground to and pick the best. scrape and sand all the paint off.
